I *heart* You

Happy Monday friends!!! Today I'm sharing a layout that I created for Crate Paper's July challenge - polka dots. How I loved playing along to this challenge, I love polka dots so this one was easy. The background paper was my inspiration, I decided to continue the circle theme by using various circle embellishments by Crate Paper. I layered chipboard, diecuts and sticker circles along the side of the picture. I decided to replace the usual layers under the picture with tags and clothes pin. I thought that adding additional layers would create a too much bulk, tags were the right option.

I love pre-made accordion flowers, I find that making accordion flowers can be a tedious task (at least for me it is) so I'm always happy to see a couple of those flowers in embellishments packages. Again, I decided to type the journaling directly on the photo, I really enjoy doing this, it makes me think of the old polaroid pictures. Even if I didn't win this challenge, I still absolutely love the layout that I created!

LOVE your take on this challenge! And I am with you on the accordian flowers. Love the look of them but HATE trying to get them glued together. Pre-made ALL THE WAY!!

This is so cool - I saw it posted somewhere but hadn't had time to comment yet... but I am never so bold as to use that large of a print for a background. SO inspiring me to try something out of my comfort zone!
