Random Fact with Jillibean Soup

Hello scrappy friends, thanks for stopping by, today I'm sharing a layout I created for Jillibean Soup. I used one of my favorite placemats combined with kraft cardstock and Irish Farm House stew.

I really enjoy working with the negative part of die cuts, for that reason I always have my favorite punches on my desk and within reach. It is an easy way to add an extra element and detail to a layout.

Just like I love using white on white, I also love using kraft on kraft. The new chevron placemat is fabulous and really handy when I don't feel like using my Cameo. And you are seeing correctly, I handwritten the journaling!!! It rarely happens but since I have erasable pens, Frixion, I feel much more confident journaling directly on my layouts.

I love this Mel, the kraft on kraft is so fabulous. And handwritten journaling is right up my ally. I think it adds just a little extra personal touch to our albums. Looking back I would love to be able to see a layout my mother and created in celebration of me, with her own penmanship on it. I know I would feel like she was so close to me. I think your babies are going to love it too.

I love the look of the kraft on kraft, Melanine! And the chevron is great at the top of your page! And the pops of Orange, Blue and Green are really great with the neutral colors!
