Have you seen the December Hip Kit? The colour palette is right up my alley, lots of greys, teals and pinks. Lots of B side papers that can be used instead of white cardstock and an assortment of embellishments that is unbelievable. This was the perfect last kit for me, it's like Kimberly was designing it with me in mind. LOL!!
The Oh Dear card was the inspiration for this layout, I created my layout around it. Love the splash of colour is brings to my page. The snowflakes paper is bold but still muted enough to use as background paper, which I love. Sometimes its nice to use something other than white cardstock.
The white pennant banner was embossed with white Zing embossing powder (which is part of the add on kits). I really wanted a nice white glossy surface so I embossed it 3 times. Then I decided to take a chance and stamp directly on it (once it was glued on my lo) I'm so happy it worked out, I used Prima's Chalk Ink.
