Lost River - Studio Calico Sneaks

I'm so excited to be contributing to the September gallery for

Studio Calico. The September kits - Lost River are absolutely

amazing!!! This month I created 4 layouts and a PL spread, 

and I think I might still have a couple of projects ahead. 

The kits are that good, I can't stop creating.

Here are a couple of sneaks, you can see the rest along

with the amazing sneaks from the CT in the gallery.

My tiny workspace

My scrap space has evolved throughout the years. This change

was mostly influenced by our growing family. At first I had the spare

bedroom as my dedicated scrap space, then I moved to a corner

of the basement/play room and now I'm in a tiny corner of

our master bedroom. And I have to admit that this is 

my favourite space yet. I love the natural light and mostly

my standing desk. 

Since space is at a premium I have to be careful not to 

let things pile up and think this has worked out fairly well 

for me. This armoire from Ikea is ideal for storing all my supplies.

Of course I also have lots of baskets and a trusty Raskog

cart from Ikea.

As you can see working with a small space really is possible. 

DITL 4x4 mini album

Last year I participated in Ali Edwards DITL and opted to 

create a small 4x4 album to showcase my pictures. 

I opted for a simple design but really is there such a thing

when creating a mini album. I added lots of 3x4 journaling

cards for accents but also to showcase my journaling. 

I created layers using tags, transparencies and other accents. 

I love how this turned out, here are some of my

favourite pages. I hope you will

also be inspired to create a 4x4 album for your next DITL.

Studio Calico - June Main Documenter Kit

I'm a bit late posting my June projects for Studio Calico,

so here's my first project.  

This spread is one of my fave projects for that month. 

I only used the Documenter kit, this kit was so

good that it didn't need anything else. 

I love using the 6x12 format every once in a while, 

it's a fun size and perfect for showcasing 4x6 pics.

Summer Faves - Studio Calico

I shared this layout last week on the Studio Calico website

and thought it would be a good idea to share on the little old blog

as well. 

This is my 3rd layout that I created with the July kits, i love the

soft colour palette paired with the bold alpha and fun

summer accents. 

This layout came together while i was working on another layout, 

using the 4x6 paper pad I created layers that would

anchor my photograph. This is a fun and easy way to use up

the paper pads that compliment the monthly kits.

Hello friends! I'm back today to share another layout

I created with the amazing July Studio Calico kits - Pool Party!

To create this layout I used a mix of the Documenter and 

Scrapbook kit, both as so very perfect for my fave summer pics.

I didn't get to contribute to the July gallery but I still had fun 

creating with the awesome July kits - Pool Party.

Love the soft colour palette paired with the fun and

colour full accents.

April SC Reveal

Hello friends. I thought it was time for me to share a peak of my projects I created with the Studio Calico April kits. As always, it is such an honour and pleasure to create for SC!! In April I worked with the Documenter kit and Doc add on. I created 3 PL spreads and one 6x8 layouts. You can see all of the projects on the SC website - April kits.

It's been a while...

Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've updated this blog. Thought it was time to clean it up and give it a fresh new look, perhaps it will help me blog more...

Since my last update I've started designing for Studio Calico...what?! Yeah I fell off my chair when I got the email. I've been a fan of SC for like forever, to be invited to work with their Documenter kit was such a thrill. Here are some previews of my first projects, hop on to SC to see the full images.

October Reveal - Gossamer Blue

It's time for another reveal at Gossamer Blue! My favourite time of the month is when the gallery goes live and the new kits are up in the store. This month's kits feature non traditional Fall colours and embellishments, I had so much fun playing and creating, I made five layouts!!! Hello friends! I'm rather late posting my September projects for Gossamer Blue, things were crazy with back to school and everything else, so I'm finally sharing. This month I decided to create a mix of projects. I really love the mix of the products that can be used for both life pages and scrapbook pages. Gossamer Blue - August Reveal

It's hard to believe that it's already time for Gossamer Blue August reveal. This month's kits are full of fresh new lines, soft colour palettes and lots of gorgeous embellishments, you can see the full reveal of the Gossamer Blue site (link to the left).

I had such a pleasure designing with these kits, it only took a matter of days to complete these 3 layouts.

Gossamer Blue - July Kits

Hello friends!! I can't believe that it's already the time for the release of the July kits.  As I say every single months the Gossamber Blue kits are amazing. This month I especially love the new size for the life pages cards, I love using 4x4 and 2x2 cards in my albums and was excited to see Lori include this format in the kits.

These are the projects I created with the main scrap kit, main LP kit and 2 scrapbook add ons. It was such a fun and inspiring month!!!
